About Dr. Ballard
Dr. Ballard is a bilingual clinical and school psychologist with 9 years of clinical experience in a wide variety of settings - including elementary and middle schools, college campus, community behavioral health, vocational rehab, and inpatient psychiatric hospital care. Currently she is licensed as a Psychologist in two states, certified as a school psychologist, and plans to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam in 2014.
She previously served as Psychologist / Consultant and Clinical Director of North Carolina for Butterfly Effects, an agency providing therapeutic and testing services to clients with autism and developmental delays. In this role, she provided supervision for Bachelors and Masters level staff, consultation services for families, and assessments for children and adolescents primarily on the autism spectrum. She also presented on various topics relating to mental health and autism spectrum disorders. Finally, she provided parent training for families.
Dr. Ballard specializes in providing ASD diagnostic assessments, bilingual assessments (psycho-educational and psychological), and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
